Transitions Yoke Cardigan

Well, so much for new year's resolutions. Almost as soon as I swore off top-down construction, I went and cast on for the Transitions Circular Yoke Cardigan. What can I say? I have absolutely no willpower...
Details rav'ed here.

I'm definitely hoping to break my streak of making sweaters that are too big in all the wrong places...wish me luck.

So far, so good. I think I've done a better job this time of calculating shoulder width and underarm length so it should be a pretty good fit. Also, this yarn knits up more like a light worsted, so the seamless construction here should keep its shape better than the heavier Manos top-down I made last year.

I'm really loving the heathered tones in this yarn. The stockinette body section is a little tedious but it's making for some killer basketball knitting - now that I'm sitting courtside 4 evenings a week, I need it!

4 evenings a week, that's a lot of basketball! I can only deal with one day a week, for some serious nailbiter games the kids put up.

Love that green color. And I see half a Frisky in the second picture :-)

What a lovely pattern! So simple, and very wearable. Good luck with the fit issue. I bet you have it figured out just fine! I have faith in you..... :)
