Only You....

It is only appropriate that I blog about my Transitions Yoke Cardigan on Valentines Day, seeing how it has been my only purely monogamous (knitting) relationship in, like, ever.

Just the button bands the rest of the sleeves to go.

When I opened the latest edition of Interweave Knits, I had to laugh at the irony of Vicki Squares' article, "Start as Many New Projects as You Can." Vicki, where the *bleep* were you last year, when I needed you to validate my multi-project madness?

Oh well. If loving this sweater is wrong, I don't want to be right.

The other loves of my life came through for me today as well. I awoke to handmade pop-up cards and these:

Unfortunately, a certain someone else got into the valentine spirit today while we were at Boy #1's basketball game, working his way into Boy #2's backpack to extract the candy haul from yesterday's V-Day party at school. The wrappers strewn across the living room said it all, as did the expression on this little mug.

I knew the romance of the day was over when I heard the veterinarian say, "Well, you're going to have to make him vomit."

Happy V-D to you and yours :)

Little stinker.

Those are some guilty looking puppy eyes for sure. Hope he didn't make too much of a mess.

(funny how with little dogs when you take a picture from the hooman perspective they always look kinda sad or guilty) :-)

Oh No! Sofee got into a bag of trail mix (raisins!) and I heard that same thing. I think we had to use a spoon of hydrogen peroxide if memory serves me correctly. Not something either of us want to do again....that's for sure. Poor Frisky!

Your flowers are lovely - as is your sweater. You're making good progress.

Vets!...They just have no sense of humor, do they?

Personally, I think it is just a scam...saying Chocolate is poisonous to dogs...a scam perpetuated by folks that don't want to SHARE their chocolate with us! We give EVERYTHING for our people...and do we even get a half-eaten chocolate bar in return? Nope. Poor little guy...who can blame him for helping himself...and then to think you didn't even let him KEEP it! ...sigh.
