Dogs on Thursday and Ravelery-ing

"Oh, Mom, why does it have to be so cold out?!"

Poor Frisk - it's just too frigid for him to spend more than a minute or two outside. And anyway, all the good smells are covered up by that doggone snow. *sigh* Get used to it, little buddy.

With the end of semester upon me I am juggling the needs of my stressed out students, my finger-drumming diss committee, and my busy schoolchildren, not to mention trying to be ready for that big holiday that's coming up. Naturally, I find myself spending more and more time on Ravelry, aka my fantasy dream world. My favorite new pastime is clicking "friend activity" so I can see what y'all are doing - and then queue it too. Heck, you guys have great taste! And I am such a sheep.

I heart you, Ravelry :)

I just added you to my "friends" on Ravelry. I can't keep up with it at all, but it sure is fun looking at other people's projects.

My dogs dig under the covers in the winter and wouldn't move. We end up having to wake up and move them, while they snore through it all.

You sound like me, I love seeing what everyone else is up to.

Poor Frisk. Ginger hates having cold paws but not being the brightest of dogs, she tries to pull all 4 paws pff the ground at once and falls over. It sucks being a wiener in winter ;-)

My new fave Ravelry activity is hitting the 'pattern ideas' buttons for specific yarns and hitting the 'yarns' buttons for patterns...always something new to love on the Fantasy Dream World site:)

Sofee sends her sympathy to Frisky. We got about 4 new inches of snow yesterday, and more expected tomorrow. She doesn't move when I take her out. I set her down...and she does her business without taking a step! It's a hoot!

Ravelry is totally addicting, isn't it! Good thing I am no longer working...I would undoubtedly have to go to rehab if I had to find time to work!!

Poor cold puppy. Mine are artificially cold because I trim off all their warm fur. I'm adding you to my ravelry friends (unfinishedknits). My crazy obsession is checking all the new groups every day.
